The Lesser Town or the Little Quarter is located in the surrounding of the Prague Castle. This part of Prague is very picturesque with its old burgher houses, quaint streets and favourite St. Nicholas Church. At the same time it is a preferred place for movies and commercials.
In the centre there is the Baroque Lesser Town Square (Malostranské náměstí in Czech). The location is picaresque with its tiny shops, majestic churches or traditional Czech pubs or restaurants where you can taste great Czech beer. The Lesser Town is quieter than the Old Town so are peace and quiet in here.
Many hotels in here are situated in old buildings which gives them charm and magic spell of ancient Prague. Visitor can pass the Lesser Town after crossing Charles Bridge from the Old Town. Through Nerudova Street you can get to the Prague Castle.
