Join this exclusive tour to the iconic 10th century fortress of Vyšehrad.

This tour will take you through the grand Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square) and past the 14th century New Town Hall, sight of the First Defenestration of Prague. Heading away from the touristic centre, you’ll arrive in an oasis of peace and quietness. Situated within the fort is the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul, as well as the Vyšehrad Cemetery, the final resting place of many important Czech personalities. Vyšehrad also offers some of the most scenic views of Prague, with the Vltava river and its many bridges guiding the way to Prague Castle.

When you’ve finished admiring the views it is time to ride down from the fortress to Náplavka, an embankment running right next to the Vltava river. This will take you past the famous Tančící dům (Dancing House) building, from where you will work your way back into the hustle and bustle of The New Town and The Old Town.
